What Is a Shadow Restaurant?


A Shadow Restaurant or Ghost Kitchen is a restaurant without physical customer's seats. It functions like a restaurant in the kitchen and delivers directly on its customers' tables. The person cooking your meal is an awarded french chef. Chef Mika from is numerous experiences created a set of different techniques to make sure anything cook will taste amazing just when arriving on your table.
The person delivering is either le Chef himself or a professional Serveur (waiter) ready to advise and answer your various questions on the food, matching wine and etiquette.




How Can I Pay?


At the moment, you can pay directly online via PayPal and Credit Card.




How Does It Work?


The Mile Chef Shadow Restaurant functions following these steps:

  1. Go to "Order Now"
  2. Select the Day you want to be delivered.
  3. Select the Dishes and the amount you wish to order.
  4. Above Order Now, click "Specific time" and enter the time you want to be delivered. We deliver at Lunch time between 11am and 1pm and Diner time between 6pm-8pm.




What Are the Delivery Time?


We deliver at Lunch between 11am and 1pm and Diner time between 6pm and 8pm. You can specify the time in between (11h-12h or 12h-13h; 18h-19h or 19h-20h) but depending on the logistic and the earliness of the concept we will do our best to match your time with no guarantee.




Can I make Special(s) Request(s)?


You can of course enter your special request. We will do our best to meet them.




Can I Switch Dishes from One Day to Another One?


We source our fresh food in the morning and cook and bake during the day. Due to the nature of our concept to change the menu everyday, we do not do this.




What is Black/ Zero Waste Day?


We love food at Chef Mika. As such we do our best to waste not even 1% of the delicious food we source and prepare coming from Mother Nature. Those special days will pop up at random and special delicious meals will be prepared by cooking the rest of the previous days leftover. Don't worry, you will be surprised how delicious it will taste.




Why Do You Use Glass Container to Deliver?


Sure glass containers are heavy but it is more sustainable than plastic ones as they are endlessly recyclable if broken. Also it ensure optimum freshness and it makes sure that no micro plastic get in the food when transported or re-eated.




What if I Want to Order Numerous Dishes from Different Days at Once?


Select the dishes and the respective Containers then on Special Request: write the time of delivery for the day of the specific dishes selected, eg: Tuesday => Evening, Thursday => Lunch, Friday=> Evening.
